Sleeping Position
This position allows you to rest comfortably in the bed’s original “sleeping” posture.
What You Can Do in Sleeping Position:
  • Adjustable Backrest: The backrest can be adjusted steplessly from 0° to 75°, which is effective in reducing the risk of aspiration, relieving gastric juice reflux, and controlling blood pressure.
 
Reclining Position
This position allows you to relax by adjusting the backrest and leg support to your preferred angle.
What You Can Do in Reclining Position:
  • Enhanced Visibility: Raising your back allows you to change your field of view, enabling you to watch TV and read books comfortably while in bed.
 
 
Sitting Position
This position provides a stable sitting posture, even if it is difficult to place your soles flat on the floor.
Sitting Position Guide:
  • Universal Fit: Anyone, regardless of height, can sit comfortably by ensuring their entire soles are flat on the floor. Adjust the height as needed. (Recommended for individuals over 4’6″ tall.)
  • Stable Seating: Achieve a secure and stable sitting position with an adjustable backrest and seat angle. (Use the back button and leg button to adjust the seat angle.)
  • Safe Eating: Sitting reduces the risk of aspiration while eating.

Standing Position
This position supports rising and transferring with the lift-up function, providing a relaxing position on the bed.
What You Can Do in Standing Position:
  • Lift-Up Seat: The rear seat surface can be lifted from 35 to 75 cm. The seat and backrest tilt to lift the hips, aiding in standing and transferring. For those concerned about tilting, the seat can lift without tilting.
  • For Independent Individuals:
    • Standing Up: Those who can stand up by themselves can use the special fixed grip, “Kurutto Support,” to stand and walk using handrails and walkers.
  • For Individuals Needing Assistance:
    • Caregiver Support: Reduces the physical burden on caregivers when guiding and supporting individuals during transfers.
